We’re pleased to announce that a member from the upcoming eighth season of Spike TV and the UFC’sUltimate Fighter” reality television series will be blogging exclusively for FiveOuncesOfPain.com.

In order not to spoil the outcome of any of the 16 qualifying bouts that will be taking place the next two weeks, we will not reveal the identity of the fighter that will be blogging for us until after the season premiere has aired tomorrow night.

Make sure you check back this Wednesday and each and every Wednesday throughout the duration of TUF 8 for an exclusive blog from the mystery cast member.

oooooooh, the suspense is killing me, just kidding, it looks like this is going to be a good season, Dana said there is a 155’er that could be the next Anderson Silva, i wonder if that could be your mystery blogger

I’m really a fan of the blogging from fighters, even if they aren’t one who makes the finals it’s still interesting to get a different perspective from what’s shown on the TV. I’m starting to get excited for this season of the show, despite not watching a lot last season. I think the two different weight classes will be interesting; I didn’t start watching the show until they only used one.

Aha! So at least we know this will be one of the first group of fighters we will see on Wednesday. Not much of a hint, but I’ll take it:)

Your site is growing in popularity and gravitas each and every day, I compliment you.

This may be a little off-topic but any chance of them doing a The Ultimate Fighter: WEC? Faber and Torres coaching a batch of feather and bantamweights leading up to their superfight on PPV?

  • Nate says:

awsome suggestion Sergio, though I am already stoked about these coaches (well big Nog).

I love blogging by fighters, this is fantastic news.
