  • Mike Cook (232.5) vs. Carl Seumanutafa (255.5)
  • Drew Montgomery (224) vs. Brandon Tarn (252)

Sources indicate that Nick Diaz had actually been on weight for three days. I wonder if Thomas Denny got in his head and a bit with some of his comments and Diaz wanted to prove a point?

  • AG Silver says:

Hey, Diaz made weight. Who’s a big boy???? Did you do that all by yourself?

  • Bad Monkey says:

Who, besides me, thinks that Eilers coming in at 218 just means he’s going to get man handled by Bigfoot?? I mean, c’mon!! Even Randy comes in at 225 at least when he’s at heavyweight.

Eilers is a decent striker, but I just see Silva taking him down and working him on the ground.

  • Bad Monkey says:

    Oh yeah, WAR Scott Smith!!!!!

  • mike says:

Will 5oz be doing live results tonight?

  • eazye says:

Eilers weighed 228 when he fought Arlovski for the interim UFC title at UFC 53 .. that was when he was fighting with MFS though

  • Truth says:

Dream, Affliction, and now a solid EliteXC card in two weekends. MMA is just getting better and better.

Reis/Caraway should be on the CBS card though. Reis is insanely good and Caraway’s no slouch either. It’ll be an outstanding display of skill by whoever wins.

  • JJ says:

Eilers will get manhandled by Bigfoot.

And Wildman was talking a lot of trash about the weight especially, can’t wait to watch Nick pepper him round after round.

  • Rich S. says:

    you know,
i was expecting Ruthless Robbie to dominate the last fight.. and he kind of was, but, towards the end, it looked like he was starting to gas, and really starting to get affected by the punches [almost as if he was out on his feet]

    so, that has me worried..
but, i just think there’s no reason for Scott freakin’ Smith to beat a top 10 MW…

    Robbie Lawler via TKO r3

as for Diaz/Denny… HAHAHAHAHA.. i can’t wait for Diaz to have his way with Denny.. there’s not too many people in this sport that i can’t stand because of the way they look.. but Denny’s one of them..

  • HexRei says:

@#1 Wow, he misses weight once and you just can’t let it go, can you? cry some more.

  • fightfan says:

It is amazing how cocky and arrognat one can be, coming into a fight as a -600 favorite. Nick wants the best fighters???? OK, he will make some beleive that. If that was the case he wouldnt of left the UFC.

Damn Cris Cyborg scares me. I would not want to be on her bad side. Although her strikes were not not as accurate as maybe Caranos, but there is much more power behind them.
