what you guys think!? kimbo or tank? im thinkin kimbo will take tank down and either submit him or pound out a decision… i know, i know! yall think im retarded… but i think kimbo is gonna try and stay away from tanks hands and show how he has evolved and is learning…

  • Grape Knee High says:

Elite XC: Return of the Fatties.

    Brought to you by Slimfast.

  • Matt C. says:

cmon man, you gotta check out Kimbo/Tank at the very least for the spectacle. Scott Smith can bang and so can Yves. It should be an exciting card. Not a full MMA clinic like UFN 13, but exciting nonetheless.

  • Evan says:

Kimbo because I am not sure Tank gives a sh-t

  • MMA SKOOL ™ says:

Kimbo isn’t taking the fight down. He’s gonna strike with Tank. Watch out for the liver shot if you know what I mean.

  • Rich says:

i want Suave to win… but i think he’s gonna get his face broken…

and i’m totally rootin’ for Yves.. that guy knows how to put on a show.. amazing well-rounded skill..

and i would say Tank’s just gonna gas.. but.. apparently he got in shape for this fight.. or … at least.. as in shape as you can be.. for a man like Tank..

    who knows..

  • jaydog says:

I’m pulling for Tank, if only so we don’t have to see another Bo Cantrell dive.

This stare-down is a dead giveaway of a mismatch. Tank looks like a kid who’s thinking about poking a tiger with a stick. Although he may not think Kimbo’s experience rivals his own, Tank is about to go up against a much younger and more athletic opponent. ‘Fraid the old guy don’t have the hustle to make this interesting.

But, I can still hope for war.

  • Vince says:

Man Tank looks like “Are you really Kimbo?” face.

  • Matt C. says:

Tank has been talking a lot of junk to hype this match (inside mma, jimmy kimmel, etc) but he’s focusing on history, what he’s done in the past compared to kimbo. Tank hasn’t won a fight in years. Kimbo is in his prime.

My prediction: Kimbo TKO (punches) Rd 1, 3rd minute.

  • HexRei says:

Hey guys cmon Tank always comes in great shape and he’s such a well rounded fighter too! I predict victory for Tank via first round flying triangle!

    hahahahhahahaha just kidding.

  • Derek B. says:

I think kimbo is going to wanna keep the fight standing to be honest.

Just to prove that he can hang and bang with a vet.

  • Mike Wolfe says:

From what I’ve seen of Kimbo, he likes to charge straight in while flailing wildly. Tank can still punch, so that may be a mistaken strategy for Kimbo. He oughta make Tank move around some to see if he’ll gas and then charge.

Good to see Ricco out and about. Hopefully he’ll maintain his sobriety. He doesn’t want to go back to rehab, no, no, no.

  • Davey D says:

I think Kimbo will win this fight. I hope so because I want to see him fight against the very best in the World. Be it in EXC, UFC, whatever. He has a lot of star power already and it would be shame if he loses against Tank in his hometown. Kimbo wins via KO.

Ricco on the otherhand, has his hands full. Maybe a little more so than he knows. Bigfoot was very impressive last time so Ricco better be ready for fireworks. I’ll pick Silva in this one.

That being said, I hope Ricco is clean and sober now so he is able to live his life without those demons that haunted him for so long. Best of luck, Ricco.

Have a great weekend everyone. Cheers!!!

  • HexRei says:

Ricco has to be the only guy I’ve seen that GAINS weight on a coke binge.

  • Tony S. says:

One thing to keep in mind, is that Kimbo is under the tutelage of Bas Rutten. I’m sure Bas is more than aware that Tank has never gone more than one round. If Tank can’t end it imeadtaely he starts hemorrhaging wind. This flaw will be exploited — if Tank stays conscious long enough.

Tank is a one dimensional toe to toe brawler with virtually no kicking ability I’ve seen mailmen kick dogs with better form. On the ground he relies on his strength to compensate for his lack of technique.

Kimbo, on the other hand, is evolving with every training session. Who knows how far this guys come since the last time we saw him fight? At the very least, he has the hunger, the stamina and some pretty good speed for a thick dude.

    Kimbo in under 60 seconds.
