Sean Sherk suspension decision postponed until Nov. 13th

According to MMA Junkie, the California State Athletic Commission has postponed the suspension hearing for Sean Sherk again, rescheduled for Tuesday, Nov 13th.

Apparently the reason for the postponement was to give the commission additional time to review recently submitted evidence by Sherk’s attorney, Howard Jacobs. All of the commission members had not yet reviewed the documents, thus resulting in another delay.

Check back for a full update as details develop.

Hope they find in his favor, and I know I am one of the few. He has been a physical specimen his whole life and I doubt he has been roiding since middle school. The guy works as hard as anyone in the sport, and he does a lot to promote the sport. I would love to see him against Penn. He has been in there with some of the best the sport has to offer and has held his own, and that was at 170…

And for those of you commenting about Sherk on the Baroni page… first of all the extension is so the commission can review the evidence his attorney presented. Second of all about his inactivity: he has been inactive waiting for the commission to hear his case (which was postponed so he could put together an adequate defense-which he certainly has every right to do and you would do the same), and he needed surgery BEFORE he beat Florian for the open belt, and he went out and beat him anyway with the injury. He will fight anyone. He has been in there with GSP, Hughes, Diaz and he has beaten Karo thrice. What more do you want from him???
