For some reason even the thought of this event just annoys the piss out of me. It leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
Sorry to grumble on your post.

  • Sam Caplan says:

No apologies needed. Grumbling is why I’ve enabled comments.

But are you grumbling simply because you can’t be there? :)

  • Dr J says:

Huh? I thought Melendez and Thomson were fighting for the title? And I thought Southworth and Puder were fighting one another as well. How is there only one official fight when this thing is just weeks away? Wasn’t think initially announced as El Nine and The Punk agianst one another?

  • Sam Caplan says:

    Dr. J:

Strikeforce never announced those matchups. Only that the four guys will be appearing on the card.

  • Dr J says:

Thanks Sam. Guess that’s how it came off when I first heard, but I could have sworn that’s what they originally said. So how the heck is Melendez going to fight then? At least the Thomson fight would have been pretty decent, but who else is there now? Not impressed.
