New boxing show to debut on Comcast Sportsnet

Yes, I know this is a blog about MMA but some of you are like me and also follow boxing. I wanted to take an opportunity to let you all know about a new boxing show called Fighting City that will be debuting on various Comcast Sportsnet outlets across the country.

The show is hosted by my friends Dean Rubenstein, Mike Cassell, and Jeff Izes. I first met Dean, Mike, and Jeff when they aired before the show I do on ESPN 920 in Philadelphia each Saturday.

Fighting City will begin airing on CSN affiliates starting on June 14 and the main event will feature Harry Yorgey vs.  Edson Aguirre from the legendary Blue Horizon in Philadelphia.

Here is the broadcast schedule:

CSN Philadelphia – 6/14 (8 p.m. ET), 6/16 (3 p.m. ET), and 6/24 (1 p.m. ET)
